Our vehicles are distinguished not only by the high quality of their mechanical and electrical components, but also by the use of advanced intelligent solutions. For example, an autopilot can be installed on the platform of a universal drone, which allows the drone to automatically return to the specified coordinates in case of radio communication loss.
It is also possible to install an Object Detection system (a system for automatically recognizing objects on the way). In addition, a remote-controlled turret can be integrated into the platform of this drone (note that UkrPrototype does not manufacture or sell turrets, but only assists in their installation on the drone).

The codification of military products is the process of systematizing, classifying and identifying defense supplies in order to assign them unique nomenclature numbers. This process ensures uniformity in product description and accounting, facilitates stockpile management, and promotes interoperability of logistics systems of armed forces of different countries, especially within the framework of NATO standards.
The main stages of codification:
Classification: Determining whether a supply item belongs to a particular group or class based on its functional characteristics.
Identification: A detailed description of the item, including its technical characteristics, materials, dimensions and other parameters that allow it to be uniquely recognized among others.
Assignment of a nomenclature number: The assignment of a unique number, known as a NATO Nomenclature Number (NSN), which is used to account for and manage the item of supply.
Purpose of codification:
- To improve the efficiency of supply item management at all stages of their life cycle.
- Providing conditions for automated accounting and improving inventory management.
- Promoting standardization and interchangeability of products.
- Harmonization of national logistics systems with international ones, in particular with the NATO codification system.
Legal and regulatory framework in Ukraine:
In Ukraine, the process of codification of military products is regulated by a number of normative documents, in particular:
- The Law of Ukraine “On Defense Procurement” of 17.07.2020 No. 808-IX.
- The Procedure for Codification of Supply Items, approved by the Order of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine No. 673 dated 18.12.2017.
- Regulation on Codification of Supply Items, approved by the Order of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine No. 372 dated June 14, 2007.
These documents define the procedures and requirements for codification, as well as establish the responsibility of military management bodies for organizing and performing codification work.
Importance of codification
Codification is a key element in ensuring efficient logistics and resource management in the defense sector. It avoids duplication of stocks, simplifies procurement and supply processes, and ensures rapid exchange of information between allies in international military operations.
The codification helps to unify and standardize the accounting of military products, which is critical for maintaining the combat capability and interoperability of the Ukrainian armed forces with the forces of other countries, especially in the context of cooperation with NATO.
